9-5 to Girls Night

Happy Thursday babes! I have been away from blogging for a while but I am so happy to be back with fresh content!

I am always on the hunt for great basic pieces because they are so easy to transform from one occasion to the next. So you can imagine my excitement when Urban Prestige sent me some items to review. I received some jewelry and clothing. My favorite is this darling black dress which is so perfect for the on the go girl who wants a quick change. Scroll down to see the different ways I styled the pieces, and don't forget to check out Urban Prestige to snag some items. A big thank you to James Olaleye for the photography and videography.  Check out his work at @Africaxtra on Instagram.

Thank you for reading

This dress was so unexpected for me as I normally don't gravitate towards shirt dresses, but I Absolutely LOVE the styling on this. I paired it with this jacket (which I will rave about later because it deserves it's own post). The shoes I purchase ages ago from UrbanOG (they are seriously the plug for inexpensive shoes!). Like the jacket, I will rave about the bag later (but for now I'll just say I purchased it on eBay). Of course I can't forget Asos where I purchased the earrings.

The second styling of this dress is so easy which makes it so perfect for a back to school or weekend look. I picked up the button down shirt at Zara during their winter sale last year (I was meant to only do a return but alas I was a bit weak). You have already heard me go on and on about the earrings in my last post, but seriously they are such a showstopper! Particularly if you have your hair up. This belt! This BELT! (honestly I'll save it for later)

This dress was without a doubt my favorite item in the package! I was a bit anxious about it though because my body shape is pretty straight up and down, but this dress fit so comfortably and the material hugged very nicely! For this look I kept it really simple and let the dress take center stage when I went for drinks. I added these earrings from Forever21 (their jewelry selection this season is EVERYTHING!). I am a huge fan of chunky bold 80's like earrings so I was so excited when I found these (and honestly you can't beat their prices when it comes to jewelry).

Alas this look was my favorite styling of this whole shoot mainly because it was so simple and clean. I used to work for Ann Taylor ages ago in college and I bought this sleeveless button down there. It is so clean looking and honestly amped up this easy day look. The bag and shoes are Zara. I would say I need to shop at other places but honestly they deliver every season!
