The 1 Easy way to freshen up your Winter Wardrobe

Hi Babes,

Today I want to give you one of the easiest tips to freshen up your fall/winter wardrobe, and that tip is color. I have never understood why there are color rules in fashion. “No white after Labor Day” “No mixing of prints” “No black and navy combinations” and a slew of other so called “rules” that only hinder your creativity.

Somehow in the midst of all of this, the idea came about that you have to wear dark colors in the fall and winter months. The best ways to refresh wardrobes in general is to go against the grain. So my number 1 easiest way to refresh your fall/winter wardrobe is to ADD COLOR!

Sure, jewel tones are deemed fall/winter “appropriate” but this fall/winter we are taking it a step further and wearing pastels. Blush pinks, lavenders, soft blues, and everything in between. If you’re weary of feeling out of place I recommend starting out by wearing pastel tops and pairing them with deeper colored bottoms. Scroll down for more pictures, and remember to always let your wardrobe work for you.

See you next time. XX
